Join the Homosassa River Garden Club for a fundraising bus trip to Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales. The cost is $75 and includes the bus trip and entrance to the gardens and mansion. Lunch at the Sizzling Grill will be at your own cost. The last stop will be at Davidsons of Dundee, where you can shop for citrus, candies, jams and jellies. We will leave at 7:30 AM from the parking lot on the side of Pinch A Penny in Shoppes of Sugarmill Woods and return at approximately 5:30 PM. The tickets are non-refundable. ALBUQUERQUE BALLOON FESTIVAL – OCTOBER 6, 2023
The Homosassa River Garden Club invites the public to join us for the fantastic Albuquerque Balloon Festival on October 6, 2023. Six days of fun and excitement for only $2,699.00 per person in New Mexico. Price includes some meals, local pick up to Tampa Airport, land and round-trip air. Come join the Homosassa River Garden Club on Friday, December 2, 2022 for a fun holiday trip to St. Augustine. Sit back in the large comfortable bus and let the professional do the driving. On the way, enjoy light refreshments and fun Bingo games. The bus will leave at 10:00 AM from the Shoppes of Sugarmill Woods (Pinch-A-Penny Parking Lot) and arrive at the St. Augustine Visitor Center around 1:30 PM. You will then have time to browse the stores, grab something to eat, enjoy the historic downtown area and the festive holiday decorations. At 6:15 PM, the bus will then transport everyone to the St. Augustine lighthouse for a self-guided tour of the lighthouse and the 20 plus Christmas trees. You can also climb up the lighthouse tower to view the fabulous city and harbor Christmas lights. The bus will leave at 9:00 PM and arrive back in Homosassa around 12:30 AM. On the trip back, you can relax and even take a nap while someone else does the driving. A wonderful trip to help get you in the Christmas spirit.
The bus trip cost is $90 per person, non-refundable which includes admission to the lighthouse tour. Checks should be made out to Homosassa River Garden Club and mailed to: HRGC, PO Box 4293, Homosassa Springs, FL 34447. If you would like a receipt, please send a self-addressed stamped envelope. Last date for reservations is November 16, 2022.
