Welcome from the Homosassa River Garden Club.
Cultivating our gardens and our community since 1981.
The club meets October through May, on the third Monday of the month. Regular meetings are held in the Florida Room, of the Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park, on Hwy 19 in Homosassa, FL. These meetings are open to all and begin at 9:30am. Come to learn and stay for the friendship.
H.R.G.C. is a place for people to share their love of gardening and nature. The club endeavors to expand knowledge on floral design, gardening in Florida and stewardship of our environment. To meet like-minded people, to improve our community and to preserve the natural beauty of Homosassaand it’s environs. We never forget that the beauty which surrounds us, needs care and tending. We further these goals by promoting conservation of resources, educational programs, field trips, community projects, and club events. We’ve rallied for Spring protection, do road side cleanups, offer scholarships, have installed gardens for people and wildlife, pay tribute to our veterans, give away trees during Arbor Day and plants on Earth Day. If you have any questions, please contact us.
Membership is open to all. We hope you’ll join us!
