Thanksgiving is a festive time and an opportunity to share your home with the friends and family who are close to you. So dressing up your table, is a great way to add something special to the day. Centerpieces can be as complicated or as simple as you like and can be made from materials bought for the occasion or from things you may already have at hand. Pine cones, candles, bare branches, pine boughs, holly limbs, pumpkins or fruit can all be made into pleasing arrangements (after a quick cleaning). Look around your house and follow the link here, for some inspiration.
If you’d like to learn how to put together a holiday arrangement in person, our club is presenting a free workshop to make your own Christmas Floral Arrangement, Dec 1st at the Homosassa Library. You need to bring supplies, so go to our Events Page and print out the list. Bring a friend, or make one there!
